Amanah Islamic Bank partners with the California, USA-based Allotrope Partners LLC (Allotrope) during the “Deep-Dive Dialogue on Reducing Carbon Exposure Risk and Capturing Green Infrastructure Investment Opportunities” held on July 19, 2019 at the New World Hotel.
Allotrope will provide AAIIBP with technical assistance or link the bank to programs that would build its capacity to assess the viability of renewable energy, energy efficiency projects, and determine the appropriate financing services needed by those projects. In addition, Allotrope will put AAIIBP in touch with multilateral development institutions and private investors and philanthropic organizations that are keen on funding clean energy projects.
Allotrope, a clean energy advisory, investment and project development firm, is the leading proponent in the Philippines of “Greening the Finance System” or GFS. Funded by the European Climate Foundation, GFS seeksto strengthen the capacity of Southeast Asian financial institutions (FIs) to actively participate in green finance and expedite and scale renewable energy investments, starting with the Philippines, and expanding to other key markets in the region.
